View from Regency HotelIn Shanghai, we stayed at the Regent Hotel. It was very modern and nice.  Our room was on the 45th floor & was quite large.  An excellent multi-nationality breakfast was included with our room.  You could get everything from Dim Sum to bacon & fresh made omelets.   At the right is the view from our room. The hotel’s staff was very friendly and helpful.

Shanghai MuseumOur tour of the city started out with a visit to the Shanghai Museum.  This museum features bronze, ceramics, calligraphy, paintings, jade, furniture & coins of Chinese culture, ranging from the Neolithic Age through Ming & Qing dynasties until modern times.
